PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion device for a railway vehicle capable of improving overall cooling performance (heat radiation performance) of a cooling part composed of a plurality of heat radiation fins.SOLUTION: A power conversion device (a power conversion device for a railway vehicle) 100 is arranged to extend in a traveling direction of a railway vehicle 10 at one side of the traveling direction and includes a heat radiation fin 31 radiating heat of a semiconductor device 20 mounted on the railway vehicle 10, a heat radiation fin 32 that is arranged so as to extend in the traveling direction with a predetermined interval to the heat radiation fin 31 at the other side of the traveling direction and radiates heat of the semiconductor device 20, and an air guide duct 40 extending to the inside of a space S so as to take in air (fresh outside air) from a region other than the heat radiation fins 31 and 32 and guide the taken air to the space S (a region between the fins) between the heat radiation fin 31 and the heat radiation fin 32 while the railway vehicle 10 is traveling.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
