PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pillar structure capable of facilitating welding of an outer reinforcement to a pillar inner panel.SOLUTION: A center pillar 10 includes an outer panel 20, a pillar inner panel 24, and an outer reinforcement 30. The outer reinforcement 30 is formed with a plate thickness gradual-change region (a connection part 34C) which gradually changes a plate thickness in a vehicle lengthwise direction, between a plate thickness region ET in which a plate thickness of an outer part 32 exceeds a predetermined thickness TH and a flange part 36, so that the thickness of the flange part 36 is not more than a predetermined thickness smaller than the thickness in the plate thickness region ET.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
