PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of preventing a vehicle driver from inadvertently allowing a vehicle to enter a railroad crossing.SOLUTION: A driving support device is a device that supports driving a vehicle, and includes an acquisition unit and a control unit. The acquisition unit acquires train information related to the operation of a train passing through a railroad crossing that is located in the vicinity of the vehicle or that the vehicle is crossing, by wireless communication. The control unit controls at least one of a notification to the driver of the vehicle and an automated driving of the vehicle, on the basis of the train information acquired by the acquisition unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両の運転者が不注意で車両を踏切内に進入させてしまうことを抑制可能な技術を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】運転支援装置は、車両の運転を支援する装置であり、取得部と制御部とを備える。取得部は、車両の近傍にある、または車両が横断中である踏切を通過する列車の運行に関する列車情報を、無線通信によって取得する。制御部は、取得部で取得された列車情報に基づいて、車両の運転者への通知、及び、車両の自動運転の少なくともいずれか1つを制御する。【選択図】図1
