PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fin unit device for better propulsion performance by improving propeller's upstream flow field.SOLUTION: A fin unit device is located in front of the propeller toward the bow and consists of a duct 22 which is fixed on the side of bossing 11 and is surrounding the propeller's axis of rotation L1, inner fins 24 with their outer ends fixed on inner circumference of the duct 22, located on the inside of the approximately radial direction toward the axis of rotation L1 and outer fins 25 which are located on the extended direction of inner fins 24 with their inner ends fixed on the side of outer circumference of the duct 22, located on the outside of the approximately radial direction. An angle of elevation generates to the flow-in water on the port side when the propeller rotates to the right, viewed from the stern, and θi which is the set angle of the inner fins 24 to the reference surface including the axis of rotation L1 is bigger than θo which is the set angle of the outer fins 25 to the reference surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】プロペラ上流側の流れ場を改善して船舶の推進性能を向上させることができるフィンユニット装置を提供する。【解決手段】プロペラの船舶前方に位置し、プロペラの回転軸線L1を囲むようにボッシング11側に固定されたダクト22と、ダクト22の内周側に外方端部が固定され、回転軸線L1に向けて略半径方向内側に延在する内側フィン24と、内側フィン24の延在方向に位置するとともに、ダクト22の外周側に内方端部が固定され、略半径方向外側に延在する外側フィン25とを備え、プロペラが船舶後方から見て右回転の場合には左舷側、にて、流入する水に対して迎角を形成し、回転軸線L1を含む基準面に対する内側フィン24の設置角度をθi、基準面に対する外側フィン25の設置角度をθoとした場合に、θi>θoとされている。【選択図】図2
