PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine whether or not the braking force of a brake on the side of a trailer towed by a tractor has been reduced.SOLUTION: A braking force reduction determination apparatus 10 is installed in a tractor 2 of a combination vehicle 1 equipped with an EBS6. A CPU of the braking force reduction determination apparatus 10 functions as a vehicle body speed estimating part 17, a slip ratio calculating part 18, a low slip ratio state determination part 19, and an alarm determination part 22. The vehicle body speed estimating part 17 estimates the tractor 2 vehicle body speed. The slip ratio calculating part 18 calculates a tractor side slip ratio and a trailer side slip ratio. The low slip ratio state determination part 19 determines whether or not wheels on a trailer 3 side have entered a low slip ratio state on the basis of the trailer side slip ratio and the tractor side slip ratio. The alarm determination part 22 determines whether or not the braking force of a brake 8 on the trailer 3 side has been reduced on the basis of the determination results of the low slip ratio state determination part 19.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】トラクタによって牽引されるトレーラ側のブレーキの制動力が低下しているか否かを判定する。【解決手段】制動力低下判定装置10は、EBS6が搭載された連結車両1のトラクタ2に設けられ、制動力低下判定装置10のCPUは、車体速度推定部17、スリップ率演算部18、低スリップ率状態判定部19、及び警報判定部22として機能する。車体速度推定部17は、トラクタ2の車体速度を推定する。スリップ率演算部18は、トラクタ側スリップ率とトレーラ側スリップ率とを演算する。低スリップ率状態判定部19は、トレーラ側スリップ率とトラクタ側スリップ率とに基づいて、トレーラ3側の車輪が低スリップ率状態であるか否かを判定する。警報判定部22は、低スリップ率状態判定部19の判定結果に基づいて、トレーラ3側のブレーキ8の制動力が低下しているか否かを判定する。【選択図】図2
