PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tire temperature prediction method and a tire temperature predictor capable of enhancing prediction accuracy of temperature distribution of the tire.SOLUTION: The tire temperature prediction method calculates a predicted heating value by including: a rolling analysis step of setting a preset reference speed and a plurality of different reference loads to a tire model and calculating stress and strain of each of different loads; a reference heating value calculation step of calculating a reference heating value of each load on the basis of the stress and the strain calculated for each of different loads; a heating characteristic formula setting step of setting a heating characteristic formula for calculating a heating value for the load to each element on the basis of each of the reference heating values calculated for each load; a heating value calculation step of inputting a load in a prescribed time of load information to the heating characteristic formula and calculating a heating value of each element; and a heating value correction step of calculating a correction coefficient by dividing the speed in a prescribed time of speed information by the reference speed and correcting the heating value by multiplying the correction coefficient by the heating value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
