PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a rotary electric machine capable of increasing frequency of a state where a correction amount of a rotation angle of a rotation angle detector can be calculated, and a control method for the rotary electric machine.SOLUTION: A controller for a rotary electric machine includes a rotation angle detector for detecting a rotation angle of a rotor, correction means for setting a rotation angle correction amount to the rotation angle detected by the rotation angle detector, and current control means for controlling a current flowing through a stator by applying an AC voltage, according to a q-axis voltage command value and a d-axis voltage command value calculated on the basis of the corrected rotation angle, to the stator. In a state where field weakening for demagnetizing a rotor field is performed when a number of revolution of the rotor is equal to a prescribed value or more, the correction means calculates the rotation angle correction amount by comparing a d-axis voltage component or a q-axis voltage component of a counter electromotive voltage of the stator at a voltage lead angle value when torque of the rotor is brought to zero with the d-axis voltage command value or the q-axis voltage command value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】回転角度検出器の回転角度の補正量を算出可能な状態の頻度を増やすことができる回転電機の制御装置及び回転電機の制御方法を提供することを目的の一つとする。【解決手段】回転電機の制御装置は、回転子の回転角度を検出する回転角度検出器と、回転角度検出器が検出した回転角度に対して、回転角度補正量を設定する補正手段と、補正された回転角度に基づいて算出したq軸電圧指令値とd軸電圧指令値に応じた交流電圧を固定子に印加することで、固定子に流れる電流を制御する電流制御手段と、を備え、補正手段が、回転子の回転数が所定値以上である場合に回転子の界磁を減磁する弱め界磁制御が行われている状態で、回転子のトルクをゼロとする際の電圧進角値における固定子の逆起電圧のd軸電圧成分又はq軸電圧成分と、d軸電圧指令値又はq軸電圧指令値とを比較することにより、回転角度補正量を算出する。【選択図】図1
