PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitive proximity sensor capable of distinguishing a human body from water.SOLUTION: When a capacitive proximity sensor finds that a voltage signal Shas become an upper limit threshold value Vor more or a first lower limit threshold value Vor less in a state of inputting a high-frequency signal at a first detection frequency finto an LCR resonance circuit 20, the capacitive proximity sensor inputs a high-frequency signal at a second detection frequency finto the LCR resonance circuit 20. Then, the capacitive proximity sensor finds that a human body or water has come close to a sensor electrode 22 by finding that the voltage signal has become a second lower limit threshold value Vor less in a state of inputting the high-frequency signal at the second detection frequency f.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15

    【課題】 人体と水の識別を行うことができる静電容量式近接センサを提供する。【解決手段】 LCR共振回路20に第1検出周波数f1の高周波信号を入力した状態で、電圧信号S1が上限閾値Vth11以上もしくは第1下限閾値Vth12以下となったことを検出すると、LCR共振回路20に第2検出周波数f2の高周波信号を入力する。そして、第2検出周波数f2の高周波信号を入力した状態で、電圧信号が第2下限閾値Vth21以下となったことを検出することによってセンサ電極22への人体もしくは水の近接を検知する。【選択図】 図15
