PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traffic information providing device capable of preventing contact of vehicles at an arbitrary position.SOLUTION: The traffic information providing device comprises a predicted passing position acquisition unit 22 for acquiring a predicted passing position as a position through which a first vehicle is predicted to pass, based on probe information including information of a position of the first vehicle and time of passing the position; and a predicted passing position providing unit 27 for providing the predicted passing position of the first vehicle, which is acquired by the predicted passing position acquisition unit, to a second vehicle that is different from the first vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
