PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output information on charging necessity and time relative to traveling routes even when no destination is set.SOLUTION: A notification device of an electric vehicle includes a usable charge amount calculation unit for calculating a usable charge amount indicative of a charge amount in a usable state of a storage battery that stores electric power for driving an electric vehicle; a required charge amount calculation unit for calculating a required charge amount indicative of an amount of charged electricity required for the electric vehicle to reach a destination; a destination candidate extraction unit for extracting a plurality of destination candidates; a charge necessity determination unit for determining for each of the destination candidates whether charging the electricity is necessary until the electric vehicle reaches the destination candidate on the basis of the usable charge amount and the required charge amount; and a notification unit for notifying information indicative of the destination candidate determined to require the charging and information indicative of the destination candidate determined not to require the charging in a different manner.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
