PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undulating body which allows the assembling work while easily joining multiple constituting members each other and an assembling method of a work machine with the undulating body.SOLUTION: A lattice mast comprises a lower mast 17A and an intermediate mast 17B. The lower mast 17A includes a first connection part 17A1, and the intermediate mast 17B includes a second connection part 17B1 and a first guide mechanism 73. The first guide mechanism 73 has a guide surface 73A and a guide surface 73C. A first outer peripheral surface 61A of the first connection part 17A1 moves along the guide surface 73A after abutting on the guide surface 73A, then the first outer peripheral surface 61A abuts on the guide surface 73C, and a first hole 62 coincides with a second hole 72. The first connection part 17A1 and the second connection part 17B1 are connected by inserting a connecting pin into the first hole 62 and the second hole 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
