PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively reduce a risk of a vehicle spinning caused by brake force being exerted to a wheel on inside of turning in an attempt to prevent the vehicle from shifting from a lane toward outside of the turning, resulting in a shortage of lateral force on a rear wheel inside of the turning.SOLUTION: A lane deviation prevention apparatus includes a control device for controlling brake force on a wheel so as to provide the vehicle with lane deviation-preventing yaw moment (Mlda). When lane deviation-preventing yaw moment is exerted to a vehicle for preventing a lane deviation toward outside of turning, and in the case of determining that there is a risk of the vehicle spinning on the basis of a difference (Yr-Yrvcf) between an actual yaw rate (Yr) and a vehicular standard yaw rate (Yrvcf) computed on the basis of a steering angle (st), a vehicular speed (V) and the lane deviation-preventing yaw moment (S50), the control device provides the vehicle with spin prevention yaw moment (Mps) by exerting brake force to a wheel on outside of the turning (S150) until an end condition is established (S140).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】車両が車線から旋回外側へ逸脱することを防止すべく旋回内輪に制動力が付与され、旋回内側後輪の横力が不足することに起因して車両がスピン状態になる虞を効果的に低減する。【解決手段】車線逸脱防止ヨーモーメント(Mlda)が車両に付与されるように、車輪の制動力を制御するよう構成された制御装置を含む車線逸脱防止装置において、制御装置は、旋回外側への車線逸脱を防止する車線逸脱防止ヨーモーメントが車両に付与されているときには、実際のヨーレート(Yr)と、操舵角(St)、車速(V)及び車線逸脱防止ヨーモーメントに基づいて演算された車両の規範ヨーレート(Yrvcf)との偏差(Yr−Yrvcf)に基づいて、車両がスピン状態になる虞があると判定したときには(S50)、終了条件が成立するまで(S140)、旋回外輪に制動力を付与して車両にスピン防止ヨーモーメント(Mps)を付与する(S150)。【選択図】図2
