PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide systems and methods for assessing effects of motion during a flight, such as those experienced during takeoff, landing, and periods of air turbulence.SOLUTION: An aircraft motion assessment system and method includes associating a plurality of polling devices 110 within an internal cabin of an aircraft 102 with passenger seats onboard the aircraft 102, communicatively coupling a motion assessment control unit 104 to the plurality of polling devices 110, and receiving, by the motion assessment control unit 104, passenger-input motion effect data from the plurality of polling devices 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
