PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve rapid down shifting of an automatic transmission while maintaining energy efficiencies excellently.SOLUTION: The vehicular driving device comprises: an engine 1; an automatic transmission 4; a power connection/disconnection clutch 2 for connecting and disconnecting an output shaft of the engine to and from an output shaft of the automatic transmission; a regeneration device linked to the input shaft of the automatic transmission; a first transmission control portion 52 that releases the power connection/disconnection clutch; an engine control portion 51 that increases synchronous rotation speed of the output shaft of the engine up to the synchronous rotation speed after releasing the power connection/disconnection clutch; a regeneration control portion 53 that imparts positive torque to the input shaft of the automatic transmission by switching a mode of the regeneration device to a driving mode while releasing the power connection/disconnection clutch; and a second transmission control portion 52 that switches a fastening pattern of a friction fastening element of the automatic transmission in response to increase of the rotation speed of the output shaft of the engine up to the synchronous rotation speed, and fastens the power connection/disconnection clutch.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
