PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect influences due to the reflection of a survey request radio wave from a portable device that reaches a vehicle and thereby suppress a user from being guided in a wrong direction.SOLUTION: Upon receiving a vehicle 1 survey request by a user, an advance radio wave is transmitted as a survey request radio wave from a portable device 2 side and when a prescribed delay time elapses thereafter, a subsequent radio wave as a survey request radio wave differing in frequency than the advance radio wave is transmitted. When the survey request radio wave is received on the vehicle side, an arrival direction in which the survey request radio wave was transmitted is specified. Also, influences due to the reflection of the survey request radio wave are detected on the basis of comparison of a reception time difference and a delay time between the advance radio wave and the subsequent radio wave. Then, direction information relating to the bearing of the arrival direction to the vehicle and reflection information relating to the detection result of influences due to the reflection of the survey request radio wave are transmitted by wireless from the vehicle side, and on the portable device side, notification to a user about the direction of the vehicle is controlled on the basis of the received direction information and reflection information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車両に届く携帯機からの探査要求電波の反射による影響を検出することで、ユーザーを誤った方向に導くことを抑制する。【解決手段】ユーザーによる車両1の探査要求を受けて、携帯機2側から探査要求電波としての先行電波を送信した後、所定の遅延時間が経過すると、先行電波とは周波数が異なる探査要求電波としての後行電波を送信する。車両側で探査要求電波を受信すると、探査要求電波が送信されてきた到来方向を特定する。また、先行電波および後行電波の受信の時間差と遅延時間との比較に基づいて、探査要求電波の反射による影響を検出する。そして、車両に対する到来方向の方位に関する方向情報や、探査要求電波の反射による影響の検出結果に関する反射情報を車両側から無線送信し、携帯機側では、受信した方向情報や反射情報に基づいて、車両の方向についてのユーザーへの報知を制御する。【選択図】図1
