PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge structure which can absorb an impact to the inside of a vehicle width direction, and an impact from above by using even a hinge lower.SOLUTION: In a hinge structure of an engine hood in which a hinge upper 2 fixed to the engine hood of an automobile and a hinge lower 4 fixed to a vehicle body side are pivoted to each other, the hinge upper has a stopper which is engaged with the hinge lower, and regulates a full-open position of the engine hood, and the hinge lower has a first vertical wall 6 which separates in a vehicle width direction with respect to a rotation trajectory of the stopper 2c when the stopper rotates, and a second vertical wall 8 which is arranged while continuing from the first vertical wall via bent parts 13, 14, located in a position interfering with the rotation trajectory of the stopper, and has a pivot shaft 21 pivoted with the hinge upper. An opening 4a is formed along at least the bent parts and the second vertical wall, and the rotation trajectory of the stopper is engaged at an inner edge of the opening which is formed at the second vertical wall.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】車幅方向内側への衝撃及び上方からの衝撃をヒンジロアでも吸収できるヒンジ構造を提供する。【解決手段】自動車のエンジンフードに固定されるヒンジアッパ2と車体側に固定されるヒンジロア4が互いに枢支されるエンジンフードのヒンジ構造であって、ヒンジアッパは、ヒンジロアに係合して前記エンジンフードの全開位置を規定するストッパを有し、ヒンジロアは、ヒンジアッパが回転する際の前記ストッパ2cの回転軌跡に対して車幅方向に離間した第1縦壁6と、第1縦壁から屈曲部13,14を介して連設され、ストッパの回転軌跡に干渉する位置にあり、前記ヒンジアッパとの枢軸21を有する第2縦壁8とを有し、少なくとも屈曲部及び第2縦壁に亘って開口4aが形成され、ストッパの回転軌跡は、第2縦壁に形成された開口の内縁で係合する。【選択図】図1
