PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for surely and properly detecting start of braking of a brake.SOLUTION: A brake operation detection device detects an operation of a brake using an electromagnet mechanism which has an electromagnetic coil. Therefore, the brake operation detection device comprises: an acquisition part (data input part 21) for acquiring a detection result of a current value of a current which flows the electromagnetic coil; an identification part (angle identification part 251) for estimating a two-dimensional coordinate system in which a time and the current value are coordinate axes respectively, and identifying a first angle which is formed by a first straight line in an orientation where a current value at a time and a current value after a prescribed time interval passed since the time are connected, and a second prescribed straight line, for every time when the acquisition part acquires the current value; and an estimation part 252 for estimating a start time of a braking by the brake on the basis of the first angle identified by the identification part for every time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ブレーキの制動の開始をより確実、且つ適切に検出する技術を提供する。【解決手段】ブレーキ動作検出装置は、電磁コイルを有する電磁石機構を用いたブレーキの動作を検出する。そのために、前記電磁コイルを流れる電流の電流値の検出結果を取得する取得部(データ入力部21)と、時間と前記電流値をそれぞれ座標軸とする2次元座標系を想定し、前記取得部が前記電流値を取得した時刻別に、該時刻の電流値と該時刻から予め定めた時間間隔が経過した後の電流値を結ぶ向きの第1の直線と、所定の第2の直線とが成す角度である第1の角度を特定する特定部(角度特定部251)と、前記特定部が前記時刻別に特定した前記第1の角度を基に、前記ブレーキによる制動の開始時刻を推定する推定部252と、を備えている。【選択図】図2
