PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indirect type tire air pressure monitoring system capable of estimating the pressure of a tire with higher precision than before.SOLUTION: An indirect type tire air pressure monitoring system according to the present invention comprises estimated internal pressure output means (control unit 2) which can calculate and output estimated internal pressure of a tire 14 during a travel based upon a wheel speed, measured internal pressure of the tire 14 in a stop period, and a measured temperature of the tire 14 in the stop period. This indirect type tire air pressure monitoring system S can obtain measured internal pressure and a measured temperature of each tire 14, and determines lower pressure of each tire 14 independently.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
