PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheave of an elevator of which a component cost and a cost for replacement can be reduced, and workability and safety can be improved.SOLUTION: A sheave 14 of an elevator comprises: a stem 30 having a clamp face 31 which comprises a substantially cylindrical outer circumferential surface; and a grooved component 50 which is attached over a substantially whole circumference of the clamp face 31 in a circumferential direction, and has one or more rope-races 55, which extend in a circumferential direction, on an outer peripheral side. The grooved component 50 includes one or more segments 51 which are so provided as to cover the substantially whole circumference of the clamp face 31, and the segment 51 has plural pieces which are continued in a circumferential direction, and a pin which connects adjacent pieces. The adjacent pieces are so made as to be mutually rotatable around a central axis of the pin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
