PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rudder for a marine vessel which can reduce a flexural stress generated around a pintle by a rudder force received by a rudder, and can reduce a rudder resistance during forward movement.SOLUTION: A rudder intermediate part 20 of a rudder 13 is oscillatively attached to a rudder horn 12 via a pintle 16. The rudder intermediate part 20 is a pintle fixation part 21 for fixing the pintle 16 to the rudder 13 or a shortest code part 22 of the rudder 13. A rudder 10 for a marine vessel further comprises a rudder bulb 14 which is positioned at a shaft center height of a propeller 8 and is expanded in a normal direction by the rudder horn 12 or the rudder 13. At least a part of the rudder bulb 14 is configured integrally to the rudder intermediate part 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
