PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a takeoff obstacle detection device of a flat surface sweeping radar type which has high capability for detection of a takeoff passage object.SOLUTION: In a takeoff obstacle detection device, plural flat surface sweeping measurement parts 21a to 24a, 21b to 24b are son provided as to be separated from one another, and two or more of thereof are so located as to transmit aerial propagating waves to any part of an obstacle detection region 11. A judgement part 25 is provided with intermediate determination parts 26a, 26b which intermediately determine existence or absence of an obstacle based on a measurement result of each flat surface sweeping measurement part, and an OR operation part 27 which finally determines that the obstacle is existent when it is intermediately determined by anyone of the intermediate determination parts that the obstacle is existent, and thus, each intermediate determination part determines that the obstacle is existent at the time of non-detection of a checking reflector 15 in addition to the time of detection of reflection in the obstacle detection region 11. Further, the reflector 15 is additionally provided below a hood (43) which covers the upper side of propagating wave reception parts 21a, 21b of the flat surface sweeping measurement parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】平面掃引レーダ方式で踏切通行体の検出能力が高い踏切障害物検知装置を実現。【解決手段】複数の平面掃引計測部21a〜24a,21b〜24bを離隔させて設けるとともに、そのうち二つ以上で障害物検知領域11の何れの部位にも空中伝搬波を送信するように配置し、判定部25には、平面掃引計測部それぞれの計測結果に基づいて障害物の存否を中間判別する中間判別部26a,26bと、その何れかで障害物が存在するとされたときには最終的にも障害物が存在すると判定する論理和演算部27とを設け、各中間判別部が障害物検知領域11内での反射の検出時に加えて照査用反射体15の非検出時にも障害物が存在すると判別するようにし、更に、平面掃引計測部の空中伝搬波送受信部21a,21bの上方を覆うフード(43)の下に反射体15を付設する。【選択図】 図1
