PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving force transmission mechanism advantageous for layout.SOLUTION: A driving force transmission mechanism comprises a target object to be moved, a guide rail, a housing member, a driving source having a drum member and fixed to the housing member, a wire, and a tail-end-side direction changing part. The driving force transmission mechanism moves the target object in a length direction of the guide rail via the wire by winding and delivering of the wire from the drum member with driving force from the driving source. The housing member comprises a guide rail fitting part, a drum member arrangement part, a base-end-side direction changing part, a guide rail abutting part abutting on the guide rail, and a restraint part for restraining rotation of the housing member relative to the guide rail.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
