PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a characteristics measurement device with which it is possible to accurately measure the performance characteristics of an operation mechanism equipped with an operation member that is rotationally operated.SOLUTION: A characteristics measurement device 10 comprises: a drive unit 25 for rotationally operating the pad 33 of an accelerator pedal 30 by applying an external force; a pressure sensor 17 as a load detection unit for detecting a reaction force from the pad 33 when the pad 33 is rotationally operated by the drive unit 25; an encoder 21 as a displacement amount detection unit for detecting the displacement amount of the pressure sensor 17; and a calculation unit 22A for calculating at least one of an elastic coefficient, a viscosity coefficient and friction resistance that are the performance characteristics of the accelerator pedal, on the basis of the reaction force detected by the pressure sensor 17 and the displacement amount detected by the encoder 21. The drive unit 25 is constructed so that when the pad 33 is operated by the drive unit 25, it rotationally moves the pressure sensor 17 in the same direction as the pad 33 around a prescribed center O of revolution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】回転操作される操作部材を備える操作機構の動作特性をより精度良く計測することが可能な特性計測装置を提供する。【解決手段】特性計測装置10は、外力を加えることによりアクセルペダル30のパッド33を回動操作する駆動部25と、駆動部25がパッド33を回動操作したときの該パッド33からの反力を検出する荷重検出部としての圧力センサ17と、圧力センサ17の変位量を検出する変位量検出部としてのエンコーダ21と、圧力センサ17によって検出された前記反力とエンコーダ21によって検出された変位量とに基づいて、アクセルペダルの動作特性である、弾性係数、粘性係数、及び摩擦抵抗のうちの少なくとも1つを算出する算出部22Aとを備えている。駆動部25は、該駆動部25がパッド33を操作する際に、圧力センサ17を所定の回動中心Oを中心としてパッド33と同方向に回動させるように構成されている。【選択図】図1
