PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a step abnormality detection device for a passenger conveyor capable of informing uplift amount of a tread from a step body.SOLUTION: A step abnormality detection device for a passenger conveyor detects abnormal uplift of a tread 2 of a step 1 from a step body, and includes: a variable resistor 4, as an uplift amount detector, for detecting uplift amount of the tread 2 from the step body and outputting a detection signal corresponding to the uplift amount; and a measuring instrument 5 for inputting the detection signal output from the variable resistor 4. The measuring instrument 5 includes: a calculation section 5a for calculating the uplift amount of the tread 2 on the basis of the detection signal output from the variable resistor 4; a storage section 5b for storing the uplift amount calculated by the calculation section 5a; a display section 5c for displaying the uplift amount calculated by the calculation section 5a; and an output section 5d for outputting the uplift amount calculated by the calculation section 5a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】ステップ本体からの踏板の浮き上がり量を把握することができる乗客コンベアのステップ異常検出装置の提供。【解決手段】本発明は、ステップ本体からのステップ1の踏板2の異常な浮き上がりを検出する乗客コンベアのステップ異常検出装置であって、踏板2のステップ本体からの浮き上がり量を検出し、浮き上がり量に相応する検出信号を出力する浮き上がり量検出器、例えば可変抵抗器4と、この可変抵抗器4から出力された検出信号を入力する計測器5とを備え、この計測器5は、可変抵抗器4から出力された検出信号に基づいて踏板2の浮き上がり量を演算する演算部5aと、この演算部5aで演算された浮き上がり量を記憶する記憶部5bと、演算部5aで演算された浮き上がり量を表示する表示部5cと、演算部5aで演算された浮き上がり量を出力する出力部5dとを有している。【選択図】図2
