PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber member capable of improving on-ice performance of a rubber articles when the rubber member is used for a rubber article such as a tire.SOLUTION: There is provided a rubber member having a water-thickening substance, wherein a plurality of minute recesses exist on the surface of the rubber member, the water-thickening substance is arranged on the inner surface of the minute recesses, the average coverage on the inner surface of the minute recesses is 10% or more, here, when an aqueous dispersion is prepared so that the concentration of the water-thickening substance is 23 mass%, the water-thickening substance is defined as a substance in which the viscosity of the aqueous dispersion at 25°C and an optional shear rate of 0.01/s to 0.1/s measured by a cone-plate type viscometer is 20 Pa s or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】タイヤ等のゴム物品に用いられた場合に、ゴム物品の氷上性能を向上させることが可能な、ゴム部材を提供する。【解決手段】水増粘物質を有するゴム部材であって、該ゴム部材の表面に、複数の微小凹部が存在し、前記水増粘物質が、前記微小凹部の内表面に配置されており、且つ、前記微小凹部の内表面の平均被覆率が10%以上であり、ここで、前記水増粘物質は、その濃度が23質量%となるように水分散液を調製したときに、コーンプレート型粘度計により測定される該水分散液の25℃、0.01/s〜0.1/sのうちの任意のせん断速度における粘度が、20Pa・s以上となる物質と定義される、ことを特徴とする、ゴム部材。【選択図】図1
