PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for inspecting an aircraft.SOLUTION: A two-dimensional layout 120 of an interior of an aircraft 102 including a fixed feature 126, which is visible to an eye in the interior of the aircraft, is displayed on a graphical user interface 122 of a mobile device 112 by a processor unit of the mobile device. When a fixed feature 140 corresponding to an object 136 is selected from the fixed features of the two-dimensional layout 120 by use of an input system of the mobile device, a three-dimensional view 128 of a group 130 of objects of the aircraft is displayed on the graphical user interface of the mobile device at a distance selected from an object of the group of objects and a view point 132 in one direction 138 by the processor unit. According to this method, a direction of the three-dimensional view is changed according to movement 144 of the mobile device by the processor unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
