PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external power supply apparatus, which in a state in which electric power is supplied from a power storage device of a transport apparatus that stops traveling, to an external electric load of the transport apparatus, can obtain an accurate remaining time for which the external electric load can be driven with the electric power from the power storage device.SOLUTION: An external power supply apparatus comprises a power storage device mounted on a transport apparatus, an external power supply circuit for supplying electric power of the power storage device to an external electric load of the transport apparatus, an internal power supply circuit for supplying the electric power of the power storage device to an internal load mounted on the transport apparatus, and a monitoring unit for monitoring a state of the power storage device, and a state of each of the external power supply circuit and the internal power supply circuit. The monitoring unit calculates, when the transport apparatus stops traveling, a remaining time for which the external electric load can be driven by the electric power from the power storage device, on the basis of a first parameter related to a total electric power amount that the power storage device can discharge and a second parameter including the electric power supplied by each of the external power supply circuit and the internal power supply circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
