PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector that can reduce the size of a device.SOLUTION: A rotary body 9 is provided with a magnetic field generation unit 20 formed in an annular shape along around a shaft L1 (arrow R direction) of the rotary body 9. On the other hand, a stationary body 8 is provided with a magnetic field detection unit 21 capable of detecting a magnetic field output by the magnetic field generation unit 20. The magnetic field generation unit 20 outputs communication data by a process to output or not to output a magnetic field when an output signal Sout of a detection unit 4 is reported to a controller 5. The controller 5 obtains binary information on the basis of presence or absence of the magnetic field detected by the magnetic field detection unit 21, and recognizes the output signal Sout of the detection unit 4 on the basis of the information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】装置サイズを小型化することができる回転コネクタを提供する。【解決手段】回動体9には、回動体9の軸L1回り(矢印R方向)に沿って環状に形成された磁界発生部20が設けられる。一方、固定体8には、磁界発生部20から出力される磁界を検出可能な磁界検出部21が設けられる。磁界発生部20は、検知部4の出力信号Soutをコントローラ5に通知するとき、磁界を出力する又はしないという処理によって通信データを出力する。コントローラ5は、磁界検出部21で検出した磁界有無に基づき2値化情報を取得し、これを基に検知部4の出力信号Soutを認識する。【選択図】図1
