PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attitude control system and an attitude control method for an underwater floating type power generation device, which enable the attitude of the underwater floating type power generation device to be efficiently corrected when the device is tilted in the roll direction.SOLUTION: There is provided an attitude control system S for an underwater floating type power generation device 1 that comprises a plurality of pods 2A, 2B provided with power generation turbines 4A, 4B, respectively, and a cross beam 3 extending between the plurality of pods 2A, 2B and connecting the plurality of pods 2A, 2B together. The attitude control system S for the underwater floating type power generation device comprises a gyro sensor for detecting the inclination angle of the underwater floating type power generation device 1 at least in the roll direction, rotation speed regulating means provided in the respective power generation turbines 4A, 4B and capable of regulating rotation speeds of the power generation turbines 4A, 4B, and a control part for controlling the rotation speed regulating means according to the inclination angle detected by the gyro sensor to change the rotation speed of at least one of the power generation turbines 4A, 4B.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
