PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively increase an opportunity to obtain a fuel efficiency improvement effect through EGR.SOLUTION: An internal combustion engine control device comprises: an intercooler 13 which cools intake air; an EGR passage 21 which returns a portion of exhaust to an intake air passage 2 as EGR gas at an upstream side of the intercooler 13; an EGR valve 22 which adjusts a flow rate of the EGR gas flowing in the EGR passage 21; and an external air introduction mechanism 41 which adjusts an introduction amount of external air into an engine room. The internal combustion engine control device adjusts the flow rate of the EGR gas in accordance with presence or absence of the external air introduced into the engine room through the external air introduction mechanism 41 when a temperature of intake air at an intake air introduction port of the intake passage 2 is less than a predetermined temperature. Thus, the internal combustion engine control device can increase an opportunity to obtain a fuel efficiency improvement effect through execution of EGR even in a cold region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】EGRによる燃費改善効果を得られる機会を相対的に増加させる。【解決手段】吸気を冷却するインタクーラ13と、排気の一部をEGRガスとしてインタクーラ13の上流側で吸気通路2に還流するEGR通路21と、EGR通路21を流れるEGRガス流量を調整するEGR弁22と、エンジンルームへの外気の導入量を調整する外気導入機構41を有し、吸気通路2の吸気導入口における吸気温度が所定温度未満の場合、EGRを実施するにあたって、外気導入機構41による上記エンジンルーム内への外気導入の有無に応じてEGR流量を調整する。これにより、寒冷地においても、EGRを実施することにより得られる燃費向上効果を得る機会を拡大させることができる。【選択図】図9
