PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator apparatus that, even in a case where no one is in a landing place, is able to securely notify a third person outside the car that a passenger has been confined in the car.SOLUTION: An elevator apparatus comprises: a car 10 with an interphone 8 connected to a control center or a management office; an elevator controller 6 that controls operation of the car 10; an in-car camera 7 that detects the presence or absence of a passenger riding in the car 10; a robot controller 5 connected to the elevator controller 6; and a drone 1 that activates in response to a command from the robot controller 5 and notifies people outside the car 10 of a situation in the car 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
