PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber material that uses an epichlorohydrin-based polymer and has favorable vibration-proofing characteristics and compression set resistance; and to provide a composition for the rubber material.SOLUTION: It was found that an epichlorohydrin-based rubber material obtained by crosslinking a composition containing an epichlorohydrin-based polymer, a silica-based filler treated with an amino-based silane coupling agent, and a quinoxaline-based crosslinking agent has favorable vibration-proofing characteristics and compression set resistance.SELECTED DRAWING: None
