PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle heater control apparatus capable of preventing generation of thermal noise in a camera image taken in night time.SOLUTION: A vehicle heater control apparatus is applied to a vehicle 100 that includes: a camera 11 for photographing outside of the vehicle through a window shield 101 of the vehicle; and a heater for heating a specific portion 101a of the window shield. The control apparatus performs: determining that a condition for inhibiting heater energization control is established in the case of a camera temperature correlation value being equal to or higher than an inhibition threshold; determining that a condition for permitting the heater energization control is established in the case of the camera temperature correlation value being smaller than a permission threshold being equal or smaller than the inhibition threshold; executing the heater energization control in the case of the heater energization control being requested, with the permitting condition established; and executing no heater energization control in the case of the inhibition condition being established. Further, in the case where a luminous intensity correlation value that is correlated with a luminous intensity outside of the vehicle is smaller than a threshold luminous intensity, the inhibition threshold is set at a smaller value than in the case of the luminous intensity correlation value being equal to or higher than the threshold luminous intensity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】夜間に撮影されたカメラ画像における熱ノイズの発生を防止できる、車両ヒータの制御装置を提供すること。【解決手段】車両ヒータの制御装置は、車両100のウィンドウガラス101を通して車両の外部を撮影するカメラ11及びウィンドウガラスの特定部分101aを加熱するヒータを備えた車両に適用される。、カメラの温度に相関するカメラ温度相関値が禁止閾値以上である場合、ヒータ通電制御の禁止条件が成立したと判断し、カメラ温度相関値が禁止閾値以下の許可閾値よりも小さい場合、ヒータ通電制御の許可条件が成立したと判断する。ヒータ通電制御の実行が要求され且つ許可条件が成立している場合、ヒータ通電制御を実行し、禁止条件が成立している場合、ヒータ通電制御を実行しない。車両の外の照度に相関する照度相関値が閾値照度よりも小さい場合、照度相関値が閾値照度以上である場合に比べて、禁止閾値を小さい値に設定する。【選択図】図2
