PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion system for railway vehicle capable of preventing a housing from being left in such a state that water infiltrates inside.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion system 100 for railway vehicle comprises: an electric power conversion system body 30; a housing 20 disposing the system body 30 inside and installed to a high speed railway vehicle 10; and a water detection sensor 63 disposed inside the housing 20 and detecting water infiltration inside the housing 20.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
