PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a correction method for a railway vehicle overturning limit wind speed that improves accuracy of an operation regulation method based on a measurement result by an anemometer and an overturning limit wind speed.SOLUTION: A correction method for a railway vehicle overturning limit wind speed calculated in consideration of air force by the wind to the side face of a railway vehicle includes a step for calculating a correction coefficient of the overturning limit wind speed based on the maximum value of the wind speed at a predetermined position on the side face of the railway vehicle and the maximum value of a spatial average wind speed on the side face of the railway vehicle, and a step for correcting the overturning limit wind speed based on the calculated correction coefficient. By using the corrected overturning limit wind speed, safe railway transportation is achieved without imposing excessive operation regulations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2

    【課題】風速計での計測結果及び転覆限界風速とに基づく運転規制方法の精度を向上する、鉄道車両の転覆限界風速の補正方法を提供する。【解決手段】鉄道車両の側面に対する風による空気力を考慮して算出される鉄道車両の転覆限界風速の補正方法は、鉄道車両の側面の所定位置における風速の最大値及び鉄道車両の側面における空間平均風速の最大値とに基づき転覆限界風速の補正係数を算出するステップと、算出された補正係数に基づき転覆限界風速を補正するステップを含む。補正された転覆限界風速を用いることにより、過度に運転規制をすることなく安全な鉄道輸送を実現する。【選択図】図2
