PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering wheel lock device capable of making it hard to illegally remove a locked state by breaking.SOLUTION: An interlocking cam part 43 of a cam shaft has: a first wall part 71 which is extended radially from a shaft part 42 and extends in an axial direction; a pair of second wall parts 72 which are extended radially from the shaft part 42 and connected to both ends of the first wall part 71; and a third wall part 73 which is connected to tips of the first wall part 71 and the pair of second wall parts 72. The first wall part 71 is formed in a plate shape bent backward to a lock-directional side in a rotating direction of the cam shaft toward a radially outer side. Each second wall part 72 is formed in a sectorial shape gradually decreasing in thickness along a peripheral direction toward the radially outer side. The third wall part 73 is formed in an arcuate plate shape along an outer edge of each second wall part 72. Then a thinned part 74 which is partially ground by cutting work is formed at a base end of each second wall part 72.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9

    【課題】破壊によるロック状態の不正解除を生じ難くすることができるステアリングロック装置を提供する。【解決手段】カムシャフトのインターロック用カム部43は、軸部42から径方向に延出されるとともに軸方向に延びた第1壁部71と、軸部42から径方向に延出されるとともに第1壁部71の両端に接続された一対の第2壁部72と、第1壁部71及び一対の第2壁部72の先端に接続された第3壁部73とを有する。第1壁部71は、径方向外側に向かうにつれて、カムシャフトの回動方向におけるロック方向側に反り返った板状に形成される。各第2壁部72は、径方向外側に向かうにつれて周方向に沿った厚みが徐々に小さくなる扇形状に形成される。第3壁部73は、各第2壁部72の外縁に沿った円弧板状に形成される。そして、各第2壁部72の基端には、切削加工等により一部が削られた肉取り部74が形成される。【選択図】図9
