PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheave which exhibits vibration damping effects regardless of elevating speed and roping.SOLUTION: A sheave for an elevator includes: a pair of hub parts each having a large diameter part and a small diameter part; a fastening member which arranges both the small diameter parts of the pair of hub parts opposite each other and fastens them; and plural sheave groove parts disposed in a position interposed between both the large diameter parts of the fastened pair of hub parts, via elastic members. Compression stress from the large diameter parts is applied to the elastic members and the sheave groove parts in a state that the pair of hub parts are fastened by the fastening member, whereas a gap exists between both the small diameter parts of the pair of hub parts.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
