PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision detection sensor fitting structure that is capable of suppressing flooding of the sensor with water entering the inside of a vehicle body through a liftable door glass.SOLUTION: A collision detection sensor 21 is arranged in an area opposed to a door glass 14 sandwiching a sash 15 inside a vehicle door 11 provided with the door glass 14 lifted or lowered by the sash 15 as a guide, or closer to an area opposed to the opening part of a retractable port 12d sandwiching the end of the retractable port 12d than a first vertical line drawn down from the end of the retractable port 12d in the door inside 12c of the vehicle door 11 provided with the door glass 14 lifted or lowered through the retractable port 12d with the sash 15 as a guide and arranged in a vehicle 10 positioned on a road surface having a traveling-enable maximum slope angle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
