PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat drive device in which a plurality of position adjusting mechanisms are selectively actuated by a singular drive motor and clutch mechanisms are provided in pathways respectively through which output of the drive motor is distributed to the position adjusting mechanisms respectively respectively, which is configured to suppress the problem of durability of the clutch mechanisms caused by differences in use frequency and the problem of excess quality by bringing the clutch mechanisms of the position adjusting mechanisms whose use frequency is high into a connection state regularly and bringing the clutch mechanisms of the position adjusting mechanisms whose use frequency is low into a non-connection state regularly.SOLUTION: A first clutch mechanism corresponding to a first position adjusting mechanism whose use frequency is comparatively high is configured to bring an output shaft and an input shaft into a connection state regularly and maintain the output shaft and the input shaft in the connection state, accompanying operation of a first operating member. A second clutch mechanism corresponding to a second position adjusting mechanism whose use frequency is lower than the first position adjusting mechanism is configured to bring an output shaft and an input shaft into a non-connection state regularly and switch the output shaft and the input shaft into the connection state, accompanying operation of a second operating member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】単一の駆動モータにより複数の位置調整機構が選択的に作動され、駆動モータの出力を各位置調整機構に分配する経路中にそれぞれクラッチ機構が設けられているシート駆動装置において、使用頻度の高い位置調整機構のクラッチ機構は常時接続とし、使用頻度の低い位置調整機構のクラッチ機構は常時非接続とすることにより、使用頻度の差に伴うクラッチ機構の耐久性の問題や過剰品質の問題を抑制する。【解決手段】比較的使用頻度の高い第1位置調整機構に対応する第1クラッチ機構は、出力軸と入力軸とを常時接続状態とし、第1操作部材の操作に伴い、出力軸と入力軸とを接続状態に維持する構成とされている。また、第1位置調整機構に比べて使用頻度の低い第2位置調整機構に対応する第2クラッチ機構は、出力軸と入力軸とを常時非接続状態とし、第2操作部材の操作に伴い、出力軸と入力軸とを接続状態に切り換える構成とされている。【選択図】図3
