PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately estimate loss torque of an engine generated by a compressor of a vehicular air conditioner without detecting coolant pressure.SOLUTION: A torque estimation device (60) includes: a coolant pressure estimation section (68) which estimates coolant pressure; a torque estimation section (62) which estimates torque of a compressor on the basis of engine speed and the estimated coolant pressure; a torque error estimation section (64) which estimates an error of torque estimated by the torque estimation section; and a loss torque calculation section (66) which calculates loss torque of an engine on the basis of the torque estimated by the torque estimation section and the torque error estimated by the torque error estimation section. The coolant pressure estimation section estimates coolant pressure on the basis of a loss torque estimation value and the engine speed during an OFF state of the compressor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】車両用空調装置のコンプレッサによって生じるエンジンのロストルクを、冷媒圧を検出することなく、高精度に推定できるようにする。【解決手段】トルク推定装置(60)は、冷媒圧を推定する冷媒圧推定部(68)と、エンジン回転数と推定冷媒圧とに基づきコンプレッサのトルクを推定するトルク推定部(62)と、トルク推定部より推定されるトルクの誤差を推定するトルク誤差推定部(64)と、トルク推定部にて推定されたトルクとトルク誤差推定部にて推定されたトルク誤差とに基づきエンジンのロストルクを算出するロストルク算出部(66)とを備え、冷媒圧推定部は、コンプレッサのオフ時に、ロストルク推定値とエンジン回転数とに基づき冷媒圧を推定する。【選択図】図3
