PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decline in charging efficiency of the whole device by charging a low voltage battery preferentially to a high voltage battery, when charging both low voltage battery and high voltage battery with the power obtained by solar power generation.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle power supply unit (100) charges a battery with the power obtained by solar power generation. A solar panel (101) converts sun light into electric power. A step-up DCDC converter (103) boosts the power converted by the solar panel (101). A control section (109) charges a low voltage battery (107) with the power converted by the solar panel (101), and when the amount of power stored in the low voltage battery (107) goes above a predetermined value, switches to charge a high voltage battery (105) with the power boosted by the step-up DCDC converter (103).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1

    【課題】太陽光発電で得られた電力により低電圧バッテリと高電圧バッテリとの両方を充電する場合において、高電圧バッテリの充電よりも低電圧バッテリの充電を優先することにより、装置全体の充電効率の低下を抑制すること。【解決手段】車載電源装置(100)は、太陽光発電により得られた電力でバッテリを充電する。ソーラーパネル(101)は、太陽光を電力に変換する。昇圧DCDCコンバータ(103)は、ソーラーパネル(101)で変換した電力を昇圧する。制御部(109)は、ソーラーパネル(101)で変換した電力により低電圧バッテリ(107)を充電するとともに低電圧バッテリ(107)に蓄積した電力の蓄積量が所定値以上の場合に、昇圧DCDCコンバータ(103)で昇圧した電力により高電圧バッテリ(105)を充電するように切り替える。【選択図】図1
