PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for detecting a failure in a voltage converter for a power supply system that includes two voltage converters that steps down the output of a high-voltage power supply to supply a low-voltage power line.SOLUTION: A power supply system includes a high-voltage power supply, a low-voltage power line, first and second voltage converters, and a controller for instructing an instruction voltage to each of the first and second voltage converters, and monitoring a voltage of the low-voltage power line. The controller performs: instructing a first voltage value to the first voltage converter and a second voltage value, being lower than the first voltage value, to the second voltage converter (S3); then instructing a third voltage value to the first voltage converter and a fourth voltage value, being higher than the third voltage value, to the second voltage converter (S4); and determining whether a failure is occurring to the first or second voltage converter, on the basis of a voltage change in the low-voltage power line when instructing the first through fourth voltage values (S5-S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
