PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the existence of a head lamp device less noticeable when a light source is turned off.SOLUTION: The head lamp device for a vehicle includes: the light source; and a reflector part having a reflection surface for reflecting light emitted from the light source, forward. The light source is disposed on an outer side of the reflector part in a direction orthogonal to a longitudinal direction. A reflection inhibition part having a reflection inhibition surface with a reflection rate lower than that of the reflection surface is installed around the light source.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
