PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is necessary to efficiently absorb collision energy which is generated at the time of a collision of a vehicle having a movable type constant-velocity universal joint mounted on a propeller shaft.SOLUTION: The power transmission structure of a vehicle comprises: a first element 14 arranged at a first rotating shaft 11; a second element 15, arranged at a second rotating shaft 12 formed in a cylindrical shape, which has a cylindrical part 17 with a diameter equal to the diameter of the second rotating shaft integrally formed; and a rolling body 16, which is arranged between the first and second elements, which can move along a groove 15a formed on an inner peripheral surface of the second element, and which uses a slidable type constant-velocity universal joint 13 for connecting the first and second rotating shafts. Further the structure comprises an end cover 22 which is fitted to an inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part having an inner diameter larger than the inner diameter of a burr 21a, which protrudes to an inner peripheral surface side of a friction pressure-contact part 21 jointing the cylindrical part to the second rotating shaft integrally, so as to block an opening end of the second element. In the end cover is formed a thin-walled fragile part 22a having a region overlapping with the burr in a direction parallel to a rotating shaft line of the second rotating shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】動式等速自在継手を推進軸に取り付けた車両の衝突時に発生する衝突エネルギーを効率よく吸収する必要性がある。【解決手段】第1の回転軸11に配される第1の要素14と、円筒状をなす第2の回転軸12に配され、第2の回転軸と同径の円筒部17が一体的に形成された第2の要素15と、第1および第2の要素間に配され、第2の要素の内周面に形成された溝15aに沿って移動し得る転動体16とを有し、第1および第2の回転軸を接続する摺動式等速自在継手13を用いた本発明の車両の動力伝達構造は、円筒部と第2の回転軸とを一体的に接合する摩擦圧接部21の内周面側にばり21aが突出し、このばりの内径よりも大きな内径を有する円筒部の内周面に嵌合されて第2の要素の開口端を塞ぐエンドカバー22を具え、このエンドカバーには、第2の回転軸の回転軸線と平行な方向においてばりと重なり合う領域を有する薄肉脆弱部22aが形成されている。【選択図】図2
