PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress poor welding when laser-welding a pipe frame and a plate-like frame.SOLUTION: The present invention is related to a method for welding an upper frame 11 and a side frame 12 having a curved section, which form a seat frame. The curved section of the side frame 12 is pressed on the upper frame 11 using a pressing tool 40 provided with a slit 40a for exposing a body to be pressed in a part, and an outer peripheral surface of the upper frame 11 is made to abut on an inner peripheral surface of the curved section. The side frame 12 is irradiated with laser L from the slit 40a provided in the pressing tool 40 in a state in which the outer peripheral surface of the upper frame 11 is made to abut on the inner peripheral surface of the curved section, and the upper frame 11 and the side frame 12 are laser-welded.     【課題】パイプフレームと板状フレームをレーザー溶接する際の溶接不良を抑制する。【解決手段】シートフレームを構成する、上部フレーム11と、湾曲部を有するサイドフレーム12を溶接する方法に関する。まず、一部に被押圧体を露出させるスリット40aが設けられた押圧治具40を用いてサイドフレーム12の湾曲部を上部フレーム11に対して押圧し、上部フレーム11の外周面と湾曲部の内周面とを当接させる。次に、上部フレーム11の外周面と湾曲部の内周面とを当接させた状態で、押圧治具40に設けられたスリット40aからサイドフレーム12にレーザーLを照射して、上部フレーム11とサイドフレーム12をレーザー溶接する。ここで、サイドフレーム12の端部は、押圧治具40の押圧面と当接する。【選択図】図5
