PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aerodynamic body operable to both promote a laminar flow and satisfy structural requirements.SOLUTION: In a perforated panel skin 2302, a micro-lattice support structure 2312 is coupled to an inner surface and defines airflow gaps allowing suctioning of air from an outer surface through the perforated panel skin into a plenum of the aerodynamic body. Rows of main beams 2314 of the micro-lattice support structure are aligned along land lines oriented in a substantially chord-wise direction corresponding to an airflow over the aerodynamic body.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 23
