PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abrasion amount estimation device which can estimate an abrasion amount at high reliability without the necessity for complicating processing.SOLUTION: Information of a current integrated traveling distance Mile is acquired from a vehicle, and a standard abrasion amount is calculated by multiplying the integrated traveling distance by a standard abrasion amount coefficient of a brake lining. Furthermore, a brake temperature FBT at a finish of a brake cycle is acquired, and an abrasion rate coefficient X (FBT) is acquired on the basis of data of an abrasion rate characteristic of the brake lining and the brake temperature FBT. A standard abrasion amount is corrected by using the abrasion rate coefficient X (FBT), and a proper value of a current abrasion amount is calculated. Since processing which is large in a load such as integration processing is dispensed with, the abrasion amount can be detected at a low cost. Since an estimation value is corrected by taking into consideration the brake temperature FBT and the abrasion rate characteristic, an estimation error can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
【課題】処理の複雑化を必要とすることなく、信頼性の高い摩耗量を推定することが可能な摩耗量推定装置を提供すること。【解決手段】車両から現在の積算走行距離Mileの情報を取得し、この積算走行距離にブレーキライニングの標準的摩耗量係数を掛けて標準的な摩耗量を算出する。更に、ブレーキサイクル終了時のブレーキ温度FBTを取得し、ブレーキライニングの摩耗率特性のデータと、ブレーキ温度FBTとに基づき摩耗率係数X(FBT)を取得する。この摩耗率係数X(FBT)を用いて標準的な摩耗量を補正し、現在摩耗量の適切な値を算出する。積算処理など負担の大きい処理が不要であるため、低コストで摩耗量を検出できる。ブレーキ温度FBTと摩耗率特性を考慮して推定値を補正するので、推定誤差を減らすことができる。【選択図】図1
