PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of measuring a facial direction in all directions even in a case where sunglasses are worn.SOLUTION: When a subject wears sunglasses, a facial direction measurement device extracts, from a photographic image, a reflection point of light radiated from an irradiation part detected on a pair of lenses constituting the sunglasses (S210-S240). Then, with a relation expression indicating geometric relationship established between a light source, the lenses and the reflection point, the facial direction measurement device acquires a curvature radius R of the lens (S270, S280). Further, with the calculated curvature radius R and a reflection point distance L indicating a relative position of the reflection point Pr to a reference point Pf set on the lens, the facial direction measurement device acquires a facial direction of the subject (S290-S330).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3

    【課題】サングラスを着用している場合でも左右上下方向の顔向き計測を実現する技術を提供する。【解決手段】被験者がサングラスを着用している場合、撮影画像から、サングラスを構成する一対のレンズ上で検出される照射部から照射された光の反射点を抽出する(S210〜S240)。そして、光源、およびレンズ、抽出された反射点の間で成立する幾何学的な関係を示した関係式を用いて、レンズの曲率半径Rを求める(S270、S280)。 更に、算出された曲率半径Rと、レンズ上に設定される基準点Pfに対する反射点Prの相対位置を表す反射点距離Lとを用いて、被験者の顔向きを求める(S290〜S330)。【選択図】図3
