PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the generation of a tooth hitting noise in a parking mechanism on the basis of the torque variation of an engine, when the parking mechanism is in operation.SOLUTION: A hybrid-vehicular power transmission apparatus includes: a planetary gear mechanism 10 including a first rotary element 14 connected to an engine, a second rotary element 11 and a third rotary element 13R connected, enabling a power transmission, to a rotary electric machine and a drive wheel; a gear 26, disposed between a third rotary element, a drive wheel W and a rotation shaft 34 of a rotary electric machine MG2, for transmitting power; a parking lock mechanism 80 including a parking gear 86 integrally rotating with the third rotary element and a parking meshing member 87 having a claw portion 87a; and a resistance application device 100 for causing a resistance application member 102 to contact the parking gear or the third rotary element so as to increase a rotary resistance in the state of the claw portion meshing with the parking gear in comparison with the case of the claw portion not meshing therewith.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
