PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sidewalk pedestrian notification system that can highly accurately notify a driver of presence of a sidewalk pedestrian to be preferentially notified.SOLUTION: A sidewalk pedestrian notification system includes: relative advancement angle arithmetic processing (S12) of determining a relative advancement vector Vr of a terminal for a sidewalk pedestrian to a terminal for a vehicle on the basis of a vehicle advancement vector Vv and a sidewalk pedestrian advancement vector Vp; determining a relative advancement angle θ being an angle formed by the relative advancement vector Vr and a direction from the terminal of the sidewalk pedestrian toward the terminal for the vehicle, and determining a relative distance (d) between the terminal for the vehicle and the terminal for the sidewalk pedestrian; an allowance degree determination unit (S14) of determining an allowance degree C which becomes smaller, as a size of a vehicle direction component Vrcosθ of the relative advancement vector determined on the basis of the relative advancement vector Vr and the relative advancement angle θ becomes greater in comparison with the relative distance (d); and a notification control unit (S16 to S23) that preferentially notifies the driver of the presence of a sidewalk pedestrian who uses the terminal for the sidewalk pedestrian from a notification unit to be used in a vehicle, as the allowance degree C is smaller.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
